Belmont Transformation
For this project we were fortunate enough to help this wonderful family give their home a complete makeover. The house sits at the very top of the hill with a beautiful view overlooking the bay ranging from San Francisco to San Jose. With the potential of this house, it was very worthy of the task of taking something ordinary and turning it into extraordinary!
Before
This house had a tired/outdated look to it and was definitely ready for an upgrade. All the trim, siding, and brick was torn off to expose the framing. Upon demolition, it was clear that all of the window and door openings had to be re-framed and the entire house sheared with plywood to meet the seismic building standards of the Bay Area.
All new Marvin Integrity windows and doors were installed. We trimmed out all the new windows and wrapped the entire home with beveled siding. A combination with matching profiles of redwood and Hardi products were used. The outside corners were mitered to give it a clean custom look. Exterior lighting was added strategically to add an appealing look at night.

To compliment the new windows, we trimmed out the inside with a custom designed wrap with boxed valances hardwired for a high end Hunter Douglas automated shades. We also remodeled the inside of the home with new trimwork, lighting, and surround sound.
The master bathroom was gutted down to the framing. We worked with the owners to come up with a design and build the bathroom of their dreams with some of the most beautiful and unique materials. From a curbless shower with a linear drain, an underfloor heating system, and custom stone work, this bathroom is truly one of a kind.
